Support a Farmer

 

The Love.Organic Cotton - Support a Farmer campaign is the result of an innovative partnership.

Textile Exchange inspires and equips people to improve practices throughout the textile industry. We support the expansion of organic cotton - a proven ecologically and socio-economically beneficial way to grow cotton - by providing opportunities for farmers to improve practices, build knowledge, and connect to the market. 

We teamed up with two fabulous ethical clothing companies to produce our limited-edition T-shirt. The beautiful and original artwork was designed by Gossypium, the independent, ethical clothing brand based in Lewes in the United Kingdom. The luxurious, organic cotton T-shirt was ethically produced by Mantis World in their award-winning Tanzanian factory from locally grown organic cotton, ensuring that the local economy gets the most value.

The limited edition T-shirt comes in a men’s, women’s and kid’s version, with a special discount for students.

Farmer access to market continues to be a priority for us and we hope you will purchase a T-shirt and help us in our campaign to raise funds for farmer education and training. Our training programs focus on improving organic farmers' understanding of the market, so they can improve their businesses. The goal is better connections between grower communities and the brands/retailers - to help build secure business for all
